Jessie Lamb

I'm Jessie Lamb, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #10541) in California, with a master's in education and a PPS credential.

Before private practice I was a head school counselor. I spent years sitting across from bright girls who were holding it together in every classroom and coming apart at home, and watching how easy they are to miss. That's the girl I built this practice around.

I'm also a parent raising neurodivergent kids. I know what it's like to watch a capable kid slip and not be able to reach her, and I know the version of that worry that keeps you up at night. And I know personally what it feels like to be highly emotional, easily overwhelmed, and misunderstood. That is a big part of why I do this work the way I do.

My style is warm, grounded, and direct: supportive when you need steadiness, honest enough to gently challenge. I draw from ACT, IFS, CBT, and motivational interviewing, matched to what a client actually needs rather than a fixed protocol. Some of the tools clients take away are body-based. They are simple ways to notice what is happening before the thinking part comes back online.
