ONLINE THERAPY FOR UC Davis STUDENTS
A place to be honest about how school is actually going
UC Davis has a quarter rhythm that can keep changing the shape of your week. You may be keeping up on paper while privately negotiating attention, worry, loneliness, roommate stress, or the loss of structure that once came from home.
Academic rhythm
When the calendar changes the shape of your week
Quarter system for undergraduate students and most graduate and professional programs, with published exceptions.
UC Davis publishes quarter dates and deadlines across fall, winter, and spring. The repeated transitions can mean a new course load, new expectations, and a new rhythm before the last term has fully settled.
A broader support map
UC Davis Student Health and Counseling Services provides student-centered counseling, consultation, outreach, and community referrals. Its official pages describe short-term support and help connecting students with off-campus professionals when appropriate.
Read the current campus information →Several fresh starts in one year
The UC Davis registrar publishes quarter calendars and notes that undergraduates and most graduate and professional programs operate on the quarter system. For some students, the recurring reset is energizing; for others, it makes it difficult to build routines before the next set of demands arrives.
Making room for community referrals
UC Davis Counseling Services describes counseling, groups, consultation, and community referral support. Jessie’s outside practice can offer a separate online space for ongoing reflection and practical work while campus services remain part of the student’s broader support map.
Distance and independence
You do not have to explain the whole transition at once
If you moved to Davis from somewhere else, daily life may now include shared housing, biking or transit logistics, family calls, and making a home while your schedule changes every quarter.
A seasonal note
The return from a break can be a useful point to notice what the last quarter required from you. You do not have to wait until the next deadline is close to think about how you want to approach the next one.
Jessie's approach
Warm, practical, andshaped around your actual life
Our work may include ADHD-informed support, ACT, CBT, IFS or parts work, attachment-based reflection, and somatic or nervous-system tools. We can stay curious about what is happening and keep the work practical enough to use between sessions.
