ONLINE THERAPY FOR UC Irvine STUDENTS
A place to be honest about how school is actually going
At UC Irvine, the quarter calendar may ask you to adjust quickly while you are still learning what kind of student and person you are becoming. You can appear capable and still feel stuck in overthinking, avoidance, loneliness, or constant catch-up.
Academic rhythm
When the calendar changes the shape of your week
Quarter system.
The UCI quarterly calendar moves through instruction and finals in short cycles. Some students find that one delayed start or overloaded week can make the next set of obligations feel much closer than expected.
A broader support map
The UCI Counseling Center provides counseling and clinical services for currently enrolled students and publishes appointment and crisis-care information on its official services page.

UCI’s official calendar lists fall, winter, and spring quarters with their own instruction and final-exam periods. Therapy can help you examine the gap between knowing what needs to happen and being able to begin, especially when anxiety adds another layer of urgency.
A campus resource to know about
The UCI Counseling Center describes counseling and clinical services for currently enrolled students and explains how to access care. Outside therapy is another independent option for students who want a consistent online space for patterns that extend beyond one quarter.
Distance and independence
You do not have to explain the whole transition at once
If you are living away from family, campus independence can involve more than coursework: figuring out roommates, errands, transportation, money, and which parts of your old routine you want to keep.
A seasonal note
At the start of a new quarter, it can help to look beyond the first week and notice where your time tends to disappear. Planning for the ordinary parts of life may matter as much as planning for exams.
Jessie's approach
Warm, practical, andshaped around your actual life
Our work may include ADHD-informed support, ACT, CBT, IFS or parts work, attachment-based reflection, and somatic or nervous-system tools. We can stay curious about what is happening and keep the work practical enough to use between sessions.
