ONLINE THERAPY FOR UCLA STUDENTS

A place to be honest about how school is actually going

UCLA can be full of movement, ambition, and people, while your private experience feels much quieter. You may look organized to others and still be overthinking, procrastinating, lonely, or unsure how to make room for yourself inside a fast quarter.

Academic rhythm

When the calendar changes the shape of your week

Quarter system.

A quarter schedule can compress reading, projects, exams, and decisions about the next term. For some students, the pressure is less about one assignment than the feeling that the next deadline is already arriving.

A broader support map

UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services offers individual and group therapy, psychiatry, triage, workshops, referrals, and other student supports. The official site publishes current access information and off-campus options.

When the quarter keeps moving

UCLA’s academic calendar lays out fall, winter, and spring quarters with instruction and finals periods close together. That structure may make it hard to recover from an uneven start, especially when attention, perfectionism, or anxiety turns a small task into a large negotiation.

Campus care and outside care

UCLA CAPS is a student resource with clinical care, consultation, groups, psychiatry, prevention, and referral support. An independent therapist can be another option for someone who wants a consistent private space while remaining respectful of the care already available on campus.

Distance and independence

You do not have to explain the whole transition at once

If you are living away from home, the independence of Westwood life may include finding roommates, making new routines, and deciding how much of your inner life to explain to family or friends.

A seasonal note

The shift into a new quarter can bring a familiar mix of hope and catch-up. Returning from break is a chance to make a plan that includes sleep, meals, relationships, and unfinished feelings, not only coursework.

Jessie's approach

Warm, practical, andshaped around your actual life

Our work may include ADHD-informed support, ACT, CBT, IFS or parts work, attachment-based reflection, and somatic or nervous-system tools. We can stay curious about what is happening and keep the work practical enough to use between sessions.
